WTSt52-3 corten steel plate is known as Weathering Steel was originally developed to eliminate the requirement of painting surface finish. It is widely used for both sculptures and building cladding because of its inbuilt corrosion-retarding layer. Weathering steel exhibits a good resistance to corrosion than ordinary steel, it has smallest alloy elements, which does not like stainless steel and it is cheaper than stainless.
