EN10028-2 covers alloy and no-alloy steels for pressure vessels with elevated temperature properties. EN1.0425 boiler steel plate is useful at moderate temperatures for pressure purposes. At the standard thickness it has a minimum yield strength of 265 MPa. EN1.0425 boiler steel sheet is normalised by heating through the thickness of the plate to a temperature between 890 to 950°C without holding.
